Steve Bohlert’s photography offers glimpses of the spiritual in the earthly. He lives with his wife in Puna, Hawaii. He enjoys shooting and sharing photographs of the Big Island, its flora, and people. He’s an active member of the Hilo Photography Club.
Steve is a lifelong spiritual practitioner and teacher with an interfaith background. He taught Radha-Krishna devotion internationally since 1967, lived in India, and was initiated by Lalita Prasad Thakur. He later served as a New Age leader and a Christian pastor. He’s the author of Universalist Radha-Krishnaism: The Way of Natural Devotion; A Practitioner’s Handbook. Steve lives a contemplative life, and his photography expresses it.
